RE: SKANDIA INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE CORPORATION (Sweden) WITHDRAWAL from the LESLI

The SLA has been requested by the California Department of Insurance ("Department") to advise its Members that, effective October 5, 1998, Skandia International Insurance Corporation (Sweden) formally withdrew from the California surplus line market. This company is hereby removed from the List of Eligible Surplus Line Insurers ("LESLI") and is no longer eligible to write new or renewal business in California as of that date.
